Located at 43 degrees north latitude, Yoichi Town in Hokkaido faces the Sea of Japan to the north and is surrounded on three sides by gentle rolling hills. The winery is situated in the Nobori district of Yoichi Town, a hilly area carved out over many years by the Yoichi and Nobori Rivers.
Using traditional Italian winemaking methods alongside the latest technology, we aim to bring to the world wines unique to Japan that make the most of the terroir of this cool climate—where grapevines spend the winter buried under snow, a phenomenon virtually unparalleled anywhere else in the world—and the distinctive characteristics of the grape varieties.
